Cancer Care Alliance Foundation Accepts Legacy Gift from Shelley Jackson

We were humbled and grateful to receive a $250,000 bequest from Shelley Jackson to “defray costs and financially assist patients suffering from Acute Myeloid Leukemia.”

Shelley was a patient of Dr. Rex Mowat, who also knew her from when his children attended St. John’s.

We pledge that Shelley’s generous gift to cancer patients in our area will be used in accordance with her wishes and that it will help people for years to come.
